Alecta brand illustrations

Alecta is one of Sweden’s biggest pension managers, helping employees across many industries secure retirement savings and insurance benefits through their employers. For the launch of their new website, I was commissioned to create a large set of illustrations and animations. To match different parts of the business, I worked with three distinct colour palettes inspired by nature and its rich, vibrant tones—conveying a strong sense of warmth and care. This meant that every illustration and animation had to be delivered in all three palettes for a cohesive yet flexible visual system.

The illustrations bring a more human touch to the site, making a complex, information-heavy subject feel approachable and engaging while helping Alecta stand out.

Adding animation gave an extra layer of personality. Movement draws the eye and makes important content stand out, while also making the site feel more alive. Bringing scenes and characters to life was both challenging and fun.
